While clearing out my parents house last month I found two huge piles of figure drawings I did up north 10 years ago. I had almost thrown them out - not knowing what they were...and I'm glad I didn't. Now I'm just not sure what to do with them. Here are 4 of over 100.
Holly! They are beautiful. I studied life drawings with a living Master in LA for over 5 years. It was the hardest thing I've had to do as an artist, and yet the most rewarding. Your forshortening on drawing #2 is incredible! That isn't easy to capture. Never throw them away! Wonderful, wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh thanks! My friend Rebekah just suggested laminating them and using them as placemats...for formal get togethers. I think its a genius idea! :)
