Oh yep. I worked in retail for years, it's where my environmental awareness and concern really grew from. I've worked with "popcorn" or styrofoam peanuts and the corn starch ones. I say if you can though, buy local and bypass the need for any kind of individual packing, support local economy and save of shipping/transportation waste
